"The deepest, darkest, most delicious voice I've ever heard!"

"on stage she's magic" Boston Women's Voice
"Marsia Shuron's deep, full, incredibly rich, earth
mother-type voice is especially moving."
Northeast Performer
"Marsia Shuron has a unique presence and musical style. Her voice
is penetrating and not easily forgotten."
Tropic Keys.
A talented solo artist and songwriter, she has created her own SoulRock
sound that is full of passion and vision.
In 1991 Marsia Shuron performed with a seven piece band at the
Hatch Shell on the Boston Esplanade. Having never performed before, it
was a suprise to see how quickly she captivated the audience. She was
welcomed into Boston's active acoustic music scene and quickly gained
popularity, being sought out by both radio and television for live
broadcasts. WERS's Stephanie Mulica deemed her, "one to watch for."
Opening for Martin Sexton at the then famous Christopher's, a hub for
Boston's promising and rising songwriter's, soon led to her selling
out shows of her own. She has appeared in almost every club and
coffeehouse in Cambridge, as well as surrounding Boston clubs,
colleges and festivals. She has sung on various recording projects
including an interactive theater exhibit, produced by Peace River
Films, as well as co-wrote songs for a national curriculum program
entitled Staying out of the Risky Zone, produced by RZI of Maine.
A lover of the arts, Marsia Shuron attended the Art Institute of
Boston majoring in fine art photography. She continues to explore the
visual arts and spends whatever time she can drawing in charcoal and
pastels. Her songwriting continues to take up most of her creative time
but when inspiration hits, you can find her standing for countless
hours in front of her easel.
Marsia Shuron is a wonderful new talent just unfolding her wings.
Her sound is distinctive and performances are memorable. A promising
new singer/songwriter, Marsia Shuron is definitely, "one to watch for."
